The 2011 ISU-Congress will be organized in The Netherlands from 17-23 August 2011. The Congress and hotel accommodation will be in one location which will make it very attractive to "mix and mingle" with stereo friends from all over the world! The Congress complex has it's own swimming pool and sauna (which are open to the ISU hotel guests at no cost) and two in-house bars.
Hotel Packages ISU 2011 (ENG)
The following ISU hotel packages are on offer:
ISU2011NLD "Complete" (6 nights, 6 breakfasts, 4 lunches (Thursday –Sunday), 5 dinners (Wednesday-Sunday)plus free coffee/tea/water during the whole Congress included). Free use of the swimming pool and sauna. Free parking (normally 20 Euros per day!) at the parking deck or in the parking garage (based on availability).
ISU2011NLD "Comfort" (6 nights, 6 breakfasts and 4 lunches plus free coffee/tea/water during the whole Congress included). Free use of the swimming pool and sauna. Free parking (normally 20 Euros per day!) at the parking deck or in the parking garage (based on availability).
ISU2011NLD "Basic" (6 nights, 6 breakfasts plus free coffee/tea/water during the whole Congress included). Free use of the swimming pool and sauna. Free parking (normally 20 Euros per day!) at the parking deck or in the parking garage (based on availability).
Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are in buffet form and so everybody will be able to compose meals to his/her own taste.
Excluded from all booking packages is the ISU 2011 Farewell Dinner for which a separate booking will have to be done. Also excluded is the Congress fee. This fee is 75 Euros for ISU and NVvS members (after 1 May 2011 this will be 100 Euros). For other participants the fee will be 100 Euros. In the packages the registration fee will show up 12,50 Euros higher during your booking because it also includes the hotel registration costs. This is the way the booking machine works, there is nothing going wrong.
There are two on-line booking modules. One for booking the packages and paying your ISU registration fee. The other module has to be used for booking your excursions/outings and the Farewell Dinner at the end of the Congress. Both modules have been linked however they work separately. And so people not staying in the Zuiderduin hotel can still use the second module. For registration and payment of the Congress fee by non-Zuiderduin guests information will be given at a later stage.
On-line booking (and direct payment by iDeal or Credit Card) will give you a 2,50 Euro reduction per person per night which will show up in the final figure.
Both modules give you the opportunity to use a cancellation
insurance (5% on total payment) which will guarantee you a reimbursement in case you are unable to attend due to a calamity. Please read the information clausal.
Although the 3 packages are for the standard time period 17 – 23 August 2011 you will still have to manually select this time period when you start making your booking. The reason behind this has to do with the next point.
In case you want to stay LONGER then the 17 – 23 August 2011 time period it is possible to extend your stay by selecting first the standard package you like. After you have been offered the opportunity to take the cancellation insurance and to fill in extra (dietary) requirements in a special text box you will see that you have (after clicking on “save”) the opportunity to make extra reservations . Use this to extend your stay before and/or after the Congress.
In case you want to stay SHORTER then the 17 – 23 August 2011 time period then it is possible to make a standard reservation at the hotel. Beware that not all ISU Congress extra’s as included in the packages will be part of such a reservation. The room rate will be higher. Coffee/tea during the Congress will have to be paid for in the hotel cafe. However free parking for Zuiderduin hotel guests is still included as well as free entry to the swimming pool and sauna.
The hotel is of a high standard and at a popular location only 100 meters from a nice sandy beach. It is also next to a lively touristic town centre. In August the hotel is always 100% full. The hotel has 350 rooms and suites of which 200 have been reserved for our Congress guests until April 2011. More rooms are still available. However; please make your reservation as soon as possible and ... take advantage of the current low Euro exchange rate (against the Dollar etc.)!
